📖 Resources for Dog Owners

- Days Out with Dog

Welcome to Part Three of our deep dive into the businesses, charities, clubs and other organizations that cater to millions of dog owners across the USA.

In the first part, we covered dog shelters and rescue centers that help dogs to find their forever homes and humans to make that first canine connection. Then, we looked at some of the organizations that provide specialist services for dogs and their owners.

Next, we look at businesses and venues that provide opportunities for you and your four-legged friend to get out of the house and have fun and adventures together. As ever, if you represent a business, charity or other organization that we have missed, do get in touch, and we will be happy to add you.

Pet dogs are not permitted in First or Premium Class cars or in cars where food is being prepared. Note that dogs must be kept on a leash and at your feet at all times.

Nestled in the White Mountain National Forest, Loon is home to the longest vertical drop in New Hampshire, and only 3 miles off Interstate 93—and 2 hours from Boston. While dogs are not allowed in winter for safety reasons, they can accompany their owners on the gondola in summer and fall, provided they are on leashes and well behaved.
